Like the TaylorMade AeroBurner Fairway Woods and Driver the story behind the AeroBurner Rescue is more speed and distance through a combination of aerodynamic design and TayloMade's new Speed Pocket.

The hosel of the club is also an area that traditionally creates a lot of drag during the swing and TaylorMade has addressed this in the AeroBurner range with an Aero Fin in the hosel area.

The AeroBurner Rescue club also has a striking red speed pocket visible on the sole of the club and this channel behind the club face increases flex for more distance, as well as reducing spin and widening the sweetspot to maintain speed on off centre strikes .

To maximise speed through the air of the 125cc head, engineers have created a shallow face that leads to a raised centre crown that keeps airflow attached to the head longer, thereby reducing drag. The crown is finished in matte white to contrast with the black PVD face that, together with the linear crown graphic, makes the AeroBurner Rescue easy to align.

A TP model of the AeroBurner Rescue is available that has been designed with a longer hosel, flatter lie, and more open face angle. The TP Rescue comes in lofts of 19 and 22 degrees and comes with a TP Matrix Ozik White Tie HX4 shaft and a Lamkin UTX TP grip.
