Considered as 'the gold standard' in electric trolley performance for decades, PowaKaddy have reimagined the Freeway series with new styling and industry-leading construction to create what PowaKaddy are referring to as their most technologically advanced family of trolleys to date - the PowaKaddy FX Collection for 2020.
The latest Freeway models feature PowaKaddy's new 1-Click system - a feature that needs no introduction and simply means that the trolley can be set up with just '1-Click.'
This 1-Click system impressively folds 20% smaller than previous versions, whilst the new PowaFrame chassis promises to be the strongest in the market. On top of the new frame and structure, PowaKaddy have also unveiled a new Electronic Braking System (EBS) which slows the trolley on steep inclines.
The new collection for 2020 is headlined unsurprisingly by the all-new FX7 GPS model, which is the world's first GPS electric golf trolley to feature touch screen technology. On top of this, PowaKaddy have left no stone unturned with the quality of the touchscreen. The 3.5" high visibility, full colour, touch screen LCD screen offers golfers fast and accurate distances to the front, middle and back of the green as well as hazards on over 40,000 course worldwide. It also displays the course scorecard.

The new GPS system also connects via Bluetooth to the PowaKaddy App for iOS and Android, allowing golfers to carry out course updates on-the-go using just their mobile device. You'll be pleased to know that unlike some other GPS devices, no annual fees or subscriptions are required for the app.

FX7 Trolley
"Designed for the driven golfer" the 2020 FX7 is said to be the most intelligent trolley of its kind. it boasts PowaKaddy's re-engineered new chassis providing the ultimate electric trolley experience with integrated and improved technology. A new, built-in calorie counter and distance measurement function can both be accessed via the new 3.5" full colour widescreen display with the help of the LCD back-light for clearer viewing on the golf course - always handy and something that has been a slight criticism of trolleys like this in the past.

FX5 Trolley
The FX5 model sits in the middle of the range and is aimed at the golfer after all of the features but at a slightly lower price point than the FX7. For example you get still get a full-colour widesreen display however it is 2.8" instead of 3.5". It also features PowaKaddy's ADF (automatic distance function) and a USB charging port.
The FX5 combines elegance and performance whist also featuring PowaKaddy’s all-new stealth wheels as well as a newly designed anti-damper dial control for improved accuracy within the speed controller. Again this is something that we found to be a slight criticism of last year's C2i GPS trolley, so we look forward to putting that to the test.

FX3 Trolley
Finally the FX3 model is said to be the perfect entry-level model to spark an electric adventure. This trolley promises simplicity without compromise.
Available in a stealth black or glossy white frame, the FX3 boasts a new 2.3” full colour widescreen display, as well as a height adjustable, soft touch handle for added comfort and new HET technology for greater downhill control.

The full FX Collection is powered by PowaKaddy’s upgraded Lithium 30v MaxTM battery and motor system. The new Plug’n’Play battery is the thinnest, lightest and most powerful golf trolley battery on the market and remains on the trolley when folded.
However, this is the bit we're most excited about... It also features a new, top mounted, easy access on/off switch, a clever battery release latch and is an impressive 40% smaller than the previous model, while maintaining 100% of its capacity. This may sound like a simple change but, trust me, we think it will make all the difference.
