The Nike VR Forged Dual Sole wedge is a Tour-level forged wedge available in three different sole grinds.

Each wedge is forged from a soft steel and offered in either a satin chrome finish or a black oxide finish. The X3X grooves have been improved with stronger, more aggressive edges and a deeper groove channels. The soft carbon steel gives you the perfect tour level feel for the ultimate feedback from your shots while the grooves have a long life performance design for season after season.

The highlight feature of the new VR Forged wedge is the three available sole grinds. Each allows you to match your game, swing or conditions to a grind that will help your game around the greens.

The Standard Grind (first photo left), inspired by players like Tiger Woods, is most versatile profile, designed for all conditions.

The Dual Narrow Grind (second photo left), favoured by players like Paul Casey, features a narrow sole width with higher bounce and extreme heel relief. It sits low to the ball whether you lie the face square at address or open.

Finally, the Dual Wide Grind (third photo left) offers all the benefits of a wider sole with the added benefit of a low bounce. It was developed, in conjunction with Nike's Francesco Molinari, for the soft, wet conditions typical on the European Tour. It is especially accurate from the bunker but still deadly from narrow or tight lies.

Each Nike VR Forged wedge comes paired with a True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shaft, Nike Tour Velvet 360 grip and enters the market with an RRP of £95.
