Innovative golf grip company G-Rip has launched its latest putter offering which hits the sweet-spot between size and feel.

Extensive testing of a wide range of straight and reverse taper grips using a SAM Putting Lab revealed that grips that are too big take away feel, while grips that are too small encourage the bottom hand to move too quickly through the stroke.

Analysis of the results led the G-Rip design team to the ST-1 which is a lightweight, oversize grip with a straight taper design in four striking two tone-colourways.

G-Rip ST-1 Golf Putter Grip

The ST-1 weighs just 51g and maintains the same thickness throughout its length giving golfers the same feel wherever they place their hands on the grip.

This consistency helps to quieten the bottom hand at impact while the oversize circumference stops too much grip pressure being exerted leading to a smoother putting stroke.

The G-Rip ST-1 putter grips are made from a soft, tacky polymer textured surface that performs well in all weather conditions and is based on an EVA compound with shock dampening properties.
