Complementing Cobra's new Darkspeed drivers are a range of fairways and hybrids, continuing the theme of 'advanced aerodynamics' to generate new levels of speed.

Cobra Darkspeed Fairways and Hybrids

Using Pwr-Bridge weighting, Pwrshell with HOT Face and carbon fibre crown technology just like that used in the Darkspeed drivers, there are three different fairways available to cater to every golfer:

Darkspeed LS Fairway (£349)

Designed for golfers with faster swing speeds, the LS Fairway features a space-grade titanium body and Pwrshell HOT face insert. The use of titanium allows Cobra to save more weight and reposition it lower and further forward in the head.

The combination of the Pwr-Bridge technology and 68g of tungsten weighting moves the CG lower and further forward for maximum ball speed and distance. A lightweight carbon crown saves weight in the upper portion of the head, allowing the CG to be lowered more than 3mm closer to the ground than the Aerojet LS model.

Like this LS driver, the LS fairway metal features adjustable weighting, with two 15g weights in the front and a single 3g weight in the back to tune ball flight and spin.

Loft offerings include a new stronger lofted 3+ model which comes in 13 degrees, adjustable between 11.5 and 14.5, as well as 14.5 and 17.5 degree models too.

Darkspeed X Fairway (£279)

The Darkspeed X is designed for golfers looking for easy launch, forgiveness and distance. There's an 8g fixed weight placed at the rear of the sole for added forgiveness and high launch, while Pwr-Bridge and Pwrshell HOT face technology increase ball speed by pushing the CG low and forward in the head.

Cobra Darkspeed Fairways and Hybrids

A lightweight carbon crown also adds to the low CG by removing weight from the upper portion of the head. The Darkspeed X comes with a UST Mamiya Lin-Q M40X Blue shaft and is offered in 15, 18 and 21 degrees.

Darkspeed Max Fairway (£279)

This is the most forgiving fairway in the lineup, designed for players who are looking for a high, draw-biased ball flight.

The Darkspeed Max features an adjustable weight system with 12g and 3g weights positioned in the back and the heel of the sole, to fine tune forgiveness and flight.

Pwr-Bridge and Pwrshell HOT face technology combine to deliver fast ball speeds using low and forward weighting and a variable thickness face design, with a carbon crown helping to lower the CG location for a higher launch.

The Darkspeed Max is available in three adjustable models - 15.5, and 18.5 and 21.5 degrees.

Cobra Darkspeed Hybrids (£229)

Completing Cobra's Darkspeed metals range for 2024 are the Darkspeed hybrids, again featuring the Pwr-Bridge weighting and Pwrshell HOT Face for added speed, launch and forgiveness.

Cobra Darkspeed Fairways and Hybrids

The Darkspeed One Length Hybrid is designed in a shorter length and is popular with plenty of golfers to due its ease of use with the rest of a One Length iron set, and for the high launch and forgiveness that it offers.

All of Cobra's Darkspeed products will begin pre-sale on 11th January, and will be available at retail and online on 19th January.
