The first Adidas Tour360 golf shoe was launched in 2005 and since then the distinctive wraparound three stripe has stood out on fairways across the world. Adidas Tour360 Boost Golf Shoes

The latest shoe in the range, the Adidas Tour360 Boost, joins a range of footwear that's recorded 38 PGA Tour victories and has sold more than 2 million pairs, so creating the latest model is something that Adidas took very seriously, as Masun Denison, Director of Footwear at Adidas golf, explains:

Tour360 broke ground when it hit the market in 2005. Our challenge in creating the next generation was living up to the Tour360 name. We took everything we've learned in the last 10 years including visual cues from prior models while utilising materials and construction innovation to take the Tour360 Boost to the next level. It's a culmination of years of technology, testing, insights and athlete feedback.

As the name of the shoe suggests, the Tour360 Boost incorporates Adidas's proprietary Boost foam cushioning along the full length of the shoe providing cushioning in both the forefoot and heel.

The second and most striking innovation in the Tour360 Boost is a re-engineered, lighter and more flexible 360Wrap saddle. For the first time this has been combined with the outsole giving the shoe greater adjustability and adaptability.

Combining the 360Wrap with the outsole is made possible by what Adidas calls Torsion Tunnel Technology. This gives the shoe independent flexibility and control between the heel and the forefoot with the added benefit of greater arch support and traction.

The outsole itself is a 10-cleat dual density construction that has a harder perimeter TPU to hold the CenTraXion and ThinTech cleats and a softer and thinner interior TPU. It is this softer inner section that allows for the placement of the Boost foam down the full length of the shoe for comfort.

The Tour360 Boost is built on Adidas's Tour Performance Last that includes a new heel shape inspired by the company's training and running shoes. This includes an S-curve that follows and adapts to the natural contours of the foot for an improved fit. Comfort inside the shoe is also enhanced by an ECT lining material that has been designed to reduce friction and help disperse moisture and heat from the foot.

The upper is made from a premium leather for a soft and comfortable feel whilst Adidas's proven climaproof technology provides the shoe with full waterproofing.

The Tour360 Boost launches in January and will also be available from February as the Tour360 Boa Boost, Adidas's most advanced use to date of the Boa Closure System.

An incremental pull and push structure is controlled from the top of the tongue and integrated into the 360Wrap structure to give fast and easy adjustability, allowing you to fine tune the perfect fit around your feet.
