The phrase 'loved only by its mother' was made for the Nike SQ Machspeed hybrid club.
Looks are not its strong point but despite that it did perform very well in our tests. The head was quite forgiving and the quality Proforce shaft combined well to give you a very solid sound and feel at impact.
The flight was mid to high for this type of club and it did feel a little on the heavy side. This is not a bad thing and it certainly helped the Nike SQ Machspeed hybrid cut through some heavier lies off the fairway.
If you like your clubs to be a little different then this could be the one for you, but we feel there are better ones out there.
