The first thing you will notice about the Mizuno MP T-10 wedge at address is the 360 grind around the edge of the club head, which not only makes the top line appear thinner, but also reduces turf drag. The bevelled grind on the sole makes it really easy to open the face up with every loft.
Looks aren’t everything, of course, and we really liked the solid feel of the Mizuno T10 wedge. It seems a little heavier and more solid than recent Mizuno wedges and the standard wedge flex shaft complemented the head well and gave excellent feedback.
The T10 performed well on approach shots, chipping and pitching around the green and also held it's own from the sand.
These wedges will conform to the wedge guidelines until 2024, although there will be a ‘Condition of Competition’ version marked with 2010C on the hosel for use on Tour in 2010 and in elite amateur events from 2014. However for the rest of us golfing mortals, the T10 wedge can be enjoyed for many years and is therefore a great investment.
The classy raw, white satin finish of the Mizuno T-10 wedge looks great and is a low glare finish.
