The Mizuno Line 90 #4 Krakatoa putter is ideal if you have a problem lining up your putter at address.
All the head styles within the range give you a clear reference target and the feel at impact is very good.
The heads are heavier to give the putter a higher swing weight, but this does not make them heavier to swing and they certainly do not feel ungainly.
The head is balanced by more weight in the grip of the club so whilst the whole club is heavier it does feel very balanced indeed. The Mizuno Line 90 putters come with a mid-size Winn grip as standard and we think this is a good development as it reduces the influence of the hands in the putting stroke.
The accuracy from this high MOI (moment of inertia) putter is also very good and overall the Line 90 putters do everything very well. However performance isn’t everything in this category and style and desirability come into it too.
We felt the alignment aid on the Line 90 putters looked a bit clunky and the orange colour scheme on the head and grip is apparently ‘inspired by volcanoes’, but makes us feel more like we've been Tango’d.
But hey, if it gets the ball in the hole for you, who cares what it looks like...
