The Callaway FT-iZ fairway wood performed very well in our tests.

The sound and feel at impact was lovely and despite the weight being lower and further back in the head, the flight was very good too.

We weren’t completely bowled over by the head shape but that is very much a matter of personal opinion and the FT-iZ is by no means the worst looking fairway wood available.

Despite our reservations over the shape the FT-iZ sat very well behind the ball on the fairway and in the semi and didn't look forbidding even on some tight links lies that we tried.

Performance is everything and we struggled to find fault in that department and we’d certainly rate the FT-iZ as one of the best composite fairway woods on the market today.

Ridiculously straight for a fairway wood.

Looks, performs and sounds 10 times better than FT-i Squareway.
