Shot Scope, the brand who have forged a strong reputation as providers of GPS and automatic shot tracking technology, have taken a further step in their quest to help golfers by introducing their first ever high-performance laser rangefinger, the Pro L1.
We recently reviewed the V3 GPS Watch with Performance Tracking, and we were extremely impressed, and the new laser will look to challenge some of the biggest brands in the golf technology market whilst catering to those golfers who want specific, clear yardages out on the course so they can attack pins.
The Pro L1 is packed with technology, and the Target-Lock Vibration feature gives the player confidence that they have captured the correct yardage with instant feedback on their measurement.
There's also a Precision Clear Lens which allows you to switch between red or black optics to your own preference in order to read the numbers more clearly, whilst distances can also be viewed in yards or metres depending on where in the world you are playing.
"The introduction of the Pro L1 laser rangefinder represents an exciting expansion for Shot Scope. We wanted to create a high performance laser product that delivered on ultimate performance while carrying an affordable price tag."
David Hunter, Shot Scope CEO
As is now a standard with premium lasers, the Pro L1 features slope adjustment technology, and Shot Scope's version is called Adaptive Slope, which displays the angle of slope adjustment and a recalculated yardage accurate to 3.6 inches.
This feature can also be switched on and off with a simple flick of a button, to ensure that your laser conforms to the rules of golf during tournament play.
The Pro L1 has 6x magnification with a range of 875 yards, meaning that even the furthest of targets can be found. The laser features a water-resistant construction and positioned grip matches, so that it sits firmly and comfortably in your hand.
Available now at retail for £199.99, the Pro L1 comes in two colour options with a premium carry case as well as a lanyard, carry clip, cleaning cloth and replaceable battery - along with a 12-month limited warranty.
