Puma has unveiled its new Ignite Pwradapt Caged footwear for 2020, which features a new Pwrcage saddle that they say provides comfort, style and stability no matter how hard the golfer swings.
There are four colourways available in two different models - a normal laced version, and one using Puma's Disc closure system.
Andrew Lawson, Footwear Product Line Manager at Puma Golf, commented:
Our new Caged footwear will keep you locked in and comfortable all day thanks to our new Adaptive Fit System and Pwrcage saddle unit which provides the perfect fit, and stability like you’ve never felt before. Best of all, they come in a stylish, lifestyle-inspired, extremely comfortable package.
The Ignite Pwradapt Caged shoes have been designed to deliver both comfort and a perfect, tailored fit through a number of different pieces of technology.
There's a supportive Pwrcage Saddle which wraps around the both sides of the shoe to add stability. As the laces then tighten, the cage then closes around the foot for a comfortable and stable fit.
This is supported by the 'Heel Lock Window' which cups the heel and locks it securely into the shoe. If you've ever had a blister on your heel whilst out on the golf course, you'll know it's not much fun...
An Adaptive Fit System provides all-round comfort on the shoe's inner section, whilst the external section is equipped with Pwrframe technology to ensure of support in the most susceptible areas of the foot.
At the bottom of the shoe, full-length Ignite foam cushioning and a Pwradapt Technology sole provide plenty of comfort and 3-dimensional traction which reacts to the way that a golfer moves during the swing.
Both the laced and Disc version of the Caged shoes feature an Epic Tour Last - a shaping that delivers an excellent fit and ample forefoot volume for comfort and looks.
The Caged collection is available in four different colourways - Gray Violet/Silver/White, Black/Silver/Black, Quiet Shade/Silver/Black and White/Silver/Peacoat - in sizes 7-12 at an RRP of £130, with a release date in February.
