Nike brought a more relaxed feeling to their apparel collection earlier in the year, focusing on gear that makes a statement and performs on and off the course.
Ahead of the Open Championship returning to the Home of Golf at St Andrews they've continued the theme. With a twist.
A collection of modern, stylish, casual wear has all been designed with a tip of the cap to the unchanging history of the game, specifically elements that make golf over the famous links of Scotland unique.
Using a worn, weathered look and a palette of primary colours meant to bring out the feel of the years third major, the Club Collection highlights both the wind and the rain that often shape the event.
Specific references to the Old Course can also be found in the 'Every Damn Bunker' T-shirt that highlights the most perilous, and most numerous, of the hazards found at St Andrews, whilst 'Swinging Blind' is a reference to the tee shot on the 17th and the famous railway sheds.
As well as the T-Shirts the collection includes polo shirts, jumpers, shorts and caps, all with small design elements celebrating another Open Championship in golf's spiritual home.
Nike have also released a limited edition Lunar Mont Royal golf shoe in Scottish Blue, as well as a blue putter cover and RZN Black golf balls with commemorative Open Championship logos.
