Motocaddy are known for being at the forefront of the golf trolley market, and their brand-new M-Series electric trolley range is headlined by the world's first touch screen electric model!
Motocaddy M5 GPS Trolley
The new M5 trolley features an ultra-responsive 3.5" LCD display, which can be used even whilst wearing a glove in all weather conditions.
Also available in a DHC (Downhill Control) model, the M5 features an integrated GPS system with access to course maps from over 40,000 golf courses, preloaded onto the system. This provides golfers with front, middle and back yardages to each green, as well as the ability to move the flag position on the screen for even more accuracy, as well as checking for any hazards on the hole.
Motocaddy CEO, John Helas, commented:
The M5 GPS trolley is the culmination of several years of R&D investment and extensive testing and we're thrilled to bring another model to the market that features pioneering and innovative technology. The touch screen is so clear and easy to use that it delivers everything a modern-day golfer needs to get around the course while playing their best.
You also get a clock, round timer and score tracking direct to the screen, with shot measurement and automatic hole advancement making this all the tech you'll need during your round of golf.
If you're connected to the Motocaddy GPS app on your smartphone, you can receive all of your normal phone notifications straight to the screen without even having to get it out of your bag. Important emails, texts, WhatsApp messages or even Facebook notifications can all be transmitted straight to you.
The M5 GPS and GPS DHC are powered by what Motocaddy are calling a 'next-generation' 28.8V drive system which is used throughout the new M-Series range.
With a whisper-quiet 230W motor, the super-light M-Series Lithium battery is 33% smaller than its nearest competitor, and can be charged whilst on board so that you don't have to take it in and out every time you finish playing.
The M5 GPS folds to 11% smaller than other trolley models on the market, whilst inverting wheels allows for the trolley to fit into even the smallest car boots.
Golfers will also benefit from Adjustable Distance Control up to 60 metres, USB charging, and Easilock bag-to-trolley connection.
Both the standard and DHC models will be available for the start of the golfing season, in graphite with blue at RRPs of £749.99 for the Standard Lithium battery or £799.99 for the Ultra Lithium. The Downhill Control model is priced at £799.99 and £849.99 for the Ultra Lithium battery.
Motocaddy M-Series Trolleys
Along with the M5, the rest of Motocaddy's renowned M-Series range has been revamped for the 2020 season. An updated handle design, new frame and wheel colouring and various other features come as a result of research by the brand, to help meet the demands of every golfer out there.
John Helas explained:
Insights gained from golfers during our research has proved invaluable and helped to shape this year's range as we continue to push the boundaries in terms of functional and stylish improvements. Our complete electric trolley line-up now presents a more premium look with different features available to meet each golfer's preference.
Motocaddy S1 Electric Trolley
The latest version of the best selling electric trolley of the last decade, the S1 is easy to use and features an anti-glare LCD screen, along with nine speed settings and distance control for 15, 30 and 45 yards.
The Quikfold mechanism means that the trolley can be ready to use in a matter of seconds, whilst a soft-touch handle is updated for easy manouevrability.
Motocaddy M1 Electric Trolleys
Motocaddy claims that the new M1 is the most simple-to-use compact trolley on the market, and it boasts a specially designed profile making it easy to fit in the car boot.
The trolley handle's screen features a speed indicator, battery indicator and auto distance control up to 45 yards, and it is suitable for use regardless of weather conditions.
The M1 DHC contains all the same features as the M1, but also includes the ability to maintain a constant speed whilst travelling downhill thanks to a motor which has downhill braking along with an electronic parking brake.
Both trolleys are available in a Graphite/Red colourway and priced at £599.99 (standard) and £649.99 (including DHC).
