Following a first outing at Japan’s ZOZO Championship, Mizuno’s upcoming ST200 driver line up was given another chance to win the approval of PGA Tour players at the RSM Classic at Sea Island GC last week.
Three new drivers – the ST200G, ST200 and ST200X all made an appearance. Mizuno’s Luke Donald, Keith Mitchell and Chris Kirk took their drivers out for further course testing – alongside Mizuno’s technicians.
The three models, which follow on from the ST190 range, feature a number of different weight settings as well as Mizuno's Wave Technology behind the face for added ball speed.
The first players to put the new drivers into play this week were reported to be Erika Hara on the Japanese ladies tour (ST200X) and a non contracted player (ST200) at Sea Island – who sat 1 shot off the lead after the first round.
The Mizuno ST200, Mizuno ST200G and Mizuno ST200X drivers are expected to be available to the public by Feb 2020. Of course, Golfalot will have all the details for you then so stay tuned!
