Japanese Golf brand Mizuno is renowned worldwide for their premium quality golf clubs that are trusted by amateurs and tour players alike, as seen recently in the JPX 919 range.
However, their latest release seeks to continue their long-standing place in the footwear market which makes up the brand’s largest global product category.
The Nexlite 005 BOA features a new Kuraray synthetic leather upper to provide golfers with a lightweight spiked shoe featuring the popular BOA fastening technology for ease of use.
The BOA system consists of a twistable dial on the side of the shoe which tightens a wire lace to secure the foot within the shoe, helping to provide more stability and an optimum fit for long-lasting comfort.
The Nexlite BOA 005 are made using a waterproof Kuraray synthetic leather upper that has the feel and look of natural leather but is lighter. The shoes weigh in at just 285g each, supporting Mizuno’s claim that they are among the lightest BOA shoes to still use proper spiked soles and come in black or white/blue colour options
The midsoles and outsoles feature a rubber design to add extra comfort whilst saving weight, and six iG4f spikes in each shoes are easy to fasten and remove and provide golfers with consistently good grip throughout the swing and in varying conditions.
