Introducing golf's first GPS band, the GolfBuddy BB4.

Yes, this isn't simply a watch or handheld GPS device, this is GolfBuddy's "innovative and fashionable golf GPS band." Weighing just 60 grams, the BB4 will be available in either white/grey or black/red colours.

GolfBuddy BB4 GPS Band

Preloaded with more than 37,000 courses, this little device brings the best of GolfBuddy's worldwide database to a golfer's wrist. Simply switch the device on when you get to the course, let the BB4 automatically recognize which course you are at, and play.

When you need a distance, simply press the arrow button and the distance to the centre of the green will be displayed with a C for centre as shown below. Additional clicks will also display front and back distances.

The BB4 is fitted with a USB-rechargeable 10-hour battery, allowing for 36-hole days. Additionally, a pedometer feature can track your mileage as well as measure the individual distance of shots you hit throughout your round. Of course, the BB4 can tell the time and be used as watch as well!

Back at the PGA Show in January, Golfalot was one of the first to try on the BB4 so to keep up to date with the latest equipment news follow us on Twitter:
