The Callaway RAZR X Black irons are the fourth generation of Callaway's RAZR irons, building on the success of the RAZR X, RAZR X Tour and RAZR Forged irons.

The RAZR X Black irons are advanced game-improvement irons design for distance and precise accuracy anywhere on the course. The glare-reducing black PVD irons are designed to look fast and deliver maximum ball speed. Engineers shifted the centre of gravity in the RAZR X Black irons lower than any other of Callaway's steel irons, improving ball flight and forgiveness. The RAZR X Black irons have been designed to offer the playability of a wide-sole iron whilst retaining the appearance and workability of a thin-sole.

Callaway's VFT technology offers a full integrated undercut cavity system and integrated clubface. The multi-material medallion on the back of the irons works to fine-tune the sound and feel of the irons at impact. Additionaly, the centre of gravity, and clubface of the RAZR X Black irons have been precisely positioned and engineered to maximise ball speed.
