Bushnell has long been regarded as the leading brand in the laser rangefinder market, and the start of the new year brings about the release of their fifth generation lasers with a number of technological advancements.

Bushnell Tour V5 Laser Rangefinder

The Tour V5 and Tour V5 Shift build upon the Bushnell tradition of continuing to innovate and incorporate leading technologies, to create rangefinders which the brand say has the perfect combination of 'size, speed accuracy and Visual Jolt' so that you can be confident of every shot you play out on the course.

Andrew Grose, Managing Director at Yumax Golf, commented:

Golfers look to us to provide the most accurate distance readings on the course to perform at their highest level. We are constantly innovating and developing new technologies, and with the addition of our Bite magnetic cart mount, Visual Jolt and our updated slope algorithm in the Tour V5 Shift, we continue to provide golfers the products they need to increase their confidence and play better golf.

The new Tour V5 models feature Bushnell's Bite technology. This magnetic mount allows the laser to be secured to any metal surface, including your golf buggy or trolley, without the need for any other accessories. With 7lbs of pull strength golfers can feel confident that their laser will stay in place.

The Jolt technology has also been upgraded with a new Visual Jolt Technology. As the Jolt function vibrates when you have locked onto the flag, a red ring now also flashes to give the golfer extra confidence to go and execute their desired shot with a clear yardage in mind.

At £359, the Tour V5 Shift is £60 more expensive than the standard Tour V5 laser, but for that you also get usage of Bushnell's newly enhanced slope algorithm and Slope-Switch Technology (as seen in last year's Pro XE) for competition/non-competition compatibility.
