The Tour360 shoe, adidas' leading model, has received another upgrade in 2019 with the new XT Primeknit, featuring a waterproof knit upper for fantastic comfort without sacrificing any performance.
The brand's aim with the Primeknit is to provide a shoe that, above all, is comfortable enough that golfers still have fresh feet when they walk off the 18th green at the end of a round.
The premium knit upper used gives an extreme soft feel, whilst the yarns are also designed to repel water (with a one-year waterproof guarantee) to keep your feet dry whilst also providing breathability and stability.
Masun Denison, Global Footwear Director at Adidas Golf, commented:
We're always working on creative ways to infuse both comfort and performance into a golf shoe. With the Tour360 XT Primeknit, it checks all the boxes, giving players an extremely comfortable - and dry - wear throughout their round, whilst also giving them the support, traction and stability they need as they play. It also offers a unique look to help them stand out on the course.
To increase stability, the Primeknits also incorporate forging technology. Here the upper section is heated during construction so that it forms a sturdier frame to support the midfoot without having to add any weight.
This couples with the 360 Wrap on the underside of the foot to give players the optimum 'locked-in feel' for every shot.
The shoe is highlighted by the eight-cleat X-Traxion outsole, which adidas says is the best traction system it has made to date.
Finally, the full-length Boost midsole provides an added level of comfort and energy return, so that every hole feels like the first.
Available now, the Tour360 XT Primeknit shoes are available at £159.95 in three different colourways: grey, black and active teal.
