The Nike Slingshot HL hybrids feature increased offset, making it easier for the player to square the hybrid at impact, resulting in straighter shots.

In the irons from 5 to sand wedge, Nike have introduced a variable sole width and progressive offset and have elongated the club profile.

We were big fans of the Slingshot 4D irons and this latest development has evolved to integrate hybrids into the set and move the Slingshot HL irons up the handicap list.

Compared to the 4D irons, the Nike Slingshot HL range is a lot chunkier and the extra weight on the back of the club certainly gets the ball up on a nice high flight.

The 3 and 4 hyrbids look more like small fairway woods than hybrid irons, but that is not a criticism as they too are very easy to hit. So if you need a forgiving set that gets the ball airborne, then the Nike Slingshot HL combo set is worth a try.

I am a life long golfer. These are the best irons I have ever owned. Will push Ping Rapture V1s out of my bag and I will sell backup Callaways (Hawkeyes and Great Big Bertha's). Carpenter steel faces are hotter than titanium. Toe hits are not a problem. Wonderful balance and feel. Before you play, register a flight plan because these clubs fly high. I mean high. But also long and straight. If you are a driving range junkie like me, you can hit these irons tray after tray and feel something slightly different in each swing. They are far from dead feeling. Quite the opposite. Save your money. These clubs are better than Diablo Edge, every new Ping iron I have tried, Cobra s9s and even TaylorMade Super Launch. And, yes, the hybrids are absolutely amazing.

I use Nike Blades, Although I have used my friends once or twice, they make you feel very good! the clubs forgive alot, although they are for the mid to high handicapper ! definately a good set of irons !
