The Mizuno MP-68 irons were a joy to hit with a fantastic feel and an excellent penetrating flight.

The classic looks are everything you would expect in a Mizuno blade iron and whilst everyone will appreciate this, you will need to be a better player to get the most from these irons.

The muscle pad design certainly seemed to increase the feel and forgiveness to the extent that they seemed to play like a half cavity iron.

The mid to short irons in particular were great to hit and provided exceptional feedback.

However don’t expect to see too many Mizuno MP-68 irons in the shops as they are available as a custom order only with Mizuno’s excellent custom fitting service that includes a new shaft optimsier system to determine the right shaft flex for you.

I bought them in 2010 because of there perfect design. After improving my swing, I freed them out of the cellar in 2017. What an amazing feeling. Best buy! In future I will go for feeling and feedback and forget those chunky "forgiving" monsters.

Have had these for 7 years and love them. Great feedback and workability. Best looking clubs ever.

August 2016

Have played with these for seven years! Fantastic clubs with great workability and a decent amount of forgiveness especially from 7-PW. Great fitting service from Mizuno where getting the right shaft makes a big difference.
