The Cobra S2 iron replaces the impressive S9 iron aiming to deliver a performance club for the low to mid hanidcapper.

We were very impressed by the S9 iron so were certainly keen to see how Cobra had managed the design improvements that are featured in the S2 and we weren't disappointed.

From the moment we addressed the ball we were impressed with the Cobra S2’s appearance and felt that the cavity was all but invisible and better players will find that very reassuring.

The club felt nice and light and we really liked the low centre of gravity which makes the Cobra S2 one of the more forgiving clubs to be aimed at this end of the market.

Cobra have also worked hard to improve the feel and sound of the S2 and we felt that they have been really successful in doing this and delivering the feel and sound that a better player would expect.

The Cobra S2 iron was also easy to move left and right. It was difficult to find fault with the Cobra S2 Iron and we think that those mid handicappers looking to make the leap into single figures will really enjoy giving them a try. A worthy successor to the S9.
