Who? 28 year-old American Xander Schauffele.

What? The 2022 Travelers Championship, his sixth PGA Tour victory.

Where? TPC River Highlands, Cromwell, Connecticut.

How? Schauffele won his first individual PGA Tour title since the beginning of 2019 with an eventual two-stroke victory over Sahith Theegala, who made a double-bogey on his final hole to fall out of the lead. Schauffele hit an incredible 63 putts for the week and made just three bogeys, shooting a two-under 68 in the final round which was highlighted by a birdie on the 18th to ensure the victory. US amateur Michael Thorbjornsen fired two rounds of 66 over the weekend to threaten the lead, eventually finishing four strokes back in fourth place.
