Cabrera Bello, who had dropped down to number 231 in the World Rankings after failing to record a top 10 finish since January, won on home soil by beating fellow compatriot Adri Arnaus on the first playoff hole. Despite opening with a double bogey, Rafa fought back to card a final round of 69 which included three consecutive birdies from the 13th to force the playoff. Grant Forrest, Julien Guerrier and Shubhankar Sharma finished two strokes back in a tie for third place at 17 under par.
