Who? 50 year-old American Phil Mickelson.

What? The 2021 PGA Championship, his sixth major victory and second PGA Championship win.

Where? Ocean Course, Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

How? Mickelson became the oldest major champion in golf history with a stunning four days of golf at the very difficult Kiawah Island, as the American rolled back the years to defeat the likes of Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen in front of thousands of fans and win his first major for eight years. A closing round of 73 was highlighted by a sublime holed bunker shot on the 5th, before a fantastic birdie on the 16th hole and a brilliant approach to the final green was enough to seal the victory.
