How? After a very uninspiring putting display (ranked 71 of 71 in Strokes Gained: Putting during the third round) throughout the week, Spieth however found himself in a playoff with Patrick Cantlay after 72 holes could not separate the two. In true Spieth-style he managed to put a miraculous 56-foot bunker shot to 7 inches and finish with a tap-in par on the first hole of a playoff on Sunday.
