What? The 2018 Australian PGA Championship, successfully defending the title he won last year.

Where? RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, Australia

How? Smith entered the final round with a three-stroke lead but found himself two behind Marc Leishman after nine holes. However, a back-nine 33 was enough to see Smith home, finishing two clear of Leishman at 16-under.

Following the victory, Smith said:

I've definitely improved a lot over the last year. I've put in a lot of hard work and I've just stuck to my process goals. would love to get into the top 20 by the end of this year; it's definitely the next goal.
