The Mizuno MP A-Series putters combine a bevelled white top edge with a lush black IP finish making them easier to align.
The compact head shapes feature a unique top edge marking, parallel to the face, that creates a stronger alignment aid than can be achieved with traditional 'ball to target' markings.
"Just bevelling off that thick top edge made these classic shape putters much easier to square up." said Mizuno's Tour Operations Manager, Andy Kikidas.
"We've worked on markings parallel to the putter face - for a lot of people they seem to work much better than the traditional line back from the face. A deep Black IP finish, allowed us to contrast that edge with a white marking - which really makes it stand out."
Each A-Series putter is engineered to generate a solid yet soft feel and the purest of rolls. The putters are forged from mild carbon steel, then CNC milled to ensure a flawless profile and exact alignment at address.
The milling creates a face thickness that is tuned for the perfect feel. Further milling creates the score lines you see on the faces of putters, that helps to reduce skid and produce a more consistent roll.
The original three head designs (MP-A301, 302 and 303) were launched in September 2012, but Mizuno felt the was building momentum, so added three more models in 2013, shown above.
The three new blade designs maintain all the technology and materials of the original line-up with three fresh new shapes. The MP-A304 is a deep mallet with a notch in the trailing edge. The 305 model is a classic centre shafted blade, whilst the 306 model features a tradition plumber neck with full shaft offset.
The Mizuno MP A-Series range features an oversized Winn Grip designed to reduce hang action through impact.
