FootJoy has long been regarded as the #1 brand for golf shoes and golf gloves, but their apparel collections are also very popular due to their wide range of appeal and classical design.
You may be a little surprised, then, to learn that their new Spring/Summer apparel line features floral and bird prints among its designs, with six brand new colour collections bringing some eye-catching new gear to the fairways for the start of this season.
Principal Apparel Designer, Nancy Harding, commented:
We sought inspiration for the collections from numerous avenues, whether it was working with our forecasting agencies, reading design magazines or gathering ideas while we're travelling. Ultimately, you select colours which fit your brand identity and work well with your materials, how you combine colours within a collection is of upmost importance.
Prints are, once again, used heavily throughout the range. They have become the top selling style in FJ's fashion collections for several seasons now. It may seem surprising, but prints can offer something different for the person who may already have a closet full of golf shirts.
FootJoy Spring/Summer 2020 Apparel Men's Range
Spirit
The Spirit collection is highlighted by two eye-catching trends - Iced Berry and Blue Fog - which are designed for golfers looking to make a statement out on the golf course.
The garments are said to also feature pale pink infusions which 'morph to more intense shades', and the collection features plenty of grey and blue shades, such as those in the Birdseye Argyle Print Polo.
Royal
Sophisticated and simple, the Royal collection is characterised by moody black and Royal colours, along with tones of grey. FootJoy say that prints are 'in' this year, as indicated by the floral pattern on the Lisle polo.
Mosaic
Spring-inspired shades, including yellow and coral, are complementary tones which can be paired with the patterns throughout the Mosaic range.
Wave
Mint is one of FootJoy's key colours for spring, as the bright, refreshing shade helps to balance other colours in the range. The Wave collection is inspired by the colours of the sea and complemented by soft purple tones. Deep blue shades replace navy for a fresher look.

Golf Leisure
For the first time the ladies Golf Leisure range features two new colour collections - Jade and Rose. The collections aim to brighten the golfer's wardrobe, with vibrant shades along with Greys, Navys and Whites.
The Golf Leisure range seeks to offer female golfers a blend of on-course performance with off-course comfort and styling.
