Ecco Golf has unveiled the latest addition to its shoe lineup, the Street 10, marking the tenth anniversary of the brand's first hybrid shoe. The original Golf Street hybrid gained Ecco major prominence thanks to Fred Couples' performance at the 2010 Masters, where his footwear was a talking point throughout the week's action.
The original hybrid shoe was developed to meet the needs of everyday golfers, namely that they could play golf whilst still looking stylish, and use a shoe which was versatile from range to course to the clubhouse afterwards.
The new Golf Street 10 still features Ecco's Dynamic Traction System (E-DTS) on the outsole, which has been in their hybrid shoes for the last decade - a testament to its quality and suitability.
The limited edition Street 10 comes with a number of new key features:
- An all-new midsole material, Pu Phorene, is the next step in Ecco's Fluidform process. It combines softness with increased shock absorption and rebound to provide Ecco's famous levels of comfort.
- The Dynamic Traction System (E-DTS) hybrid outsole features more than 100 traction bars, providing over 800 different traction angles to ensure of excellent grip in all playing conditions. It was also seen in the Ecco S-Three shoes that we recently reviewed.
- The 10-year anniversary model features bronze detailing on the lace ends, a Hybrid 10 logo in bronze on the heel, along with commemorative shoe box.
