Back in 2010, Ecco introduced golfers everywhere to the spikeless Ecco Street shoe. Since then, spikeless shoes have exploded onto the market. Now the Danish based company is offering a crossover shoe combining traditional, refined looks with a casual, spikeless sole. Ladies and gentlemen, the Ecco Tour Hybrid.

Ecco have lead and experienced a rapid growth in the popularity of the street shoe category in golfers. Whilst they expect growth to continue, they believe there are factions of golfers who have worn spiked golf shoes for years, and prefer the traditional looks of a leather shoe. The Ecco Tour Hybrid offers that appeal, as a crossover model featuring a leather upper on a Street/spikeless outsole.

"It's in our DNA to pioneer comfort, performance and style trends," said Ecco's Head of Global Golf, Michael Waack. "With each collection, we want to excite the trade and consumer markets while leaving them wondering what will be our next innovation."

The Ecco Tour Hybrid is sure to excite. Three distinct upper patterns are created using 100% waterproof GoreTex and weather resistant Hydromax leather. Add to that a Second Skin lining that wicks away moisture and a removable Comfort Fibre System insole, and you have the Tour Hybrid, suitable for the boardroom or the course.

Ecco's patented outsole, similar to the one originally used in the Ecco Street shoe, featuring 100 molded traction bars and more than 800 traction angles, offers superior grip and durability.

The Ecco Tour Hybrid is available in three different patterns and variety of colour options.
