Cobra continues to pay homage to its iconic King brand with the release of two high performance irons aimed to give better golfers superior feel and control with precision and accuracy.

The King Pro Forged CB/MB Combo Irons and the King Forged Tec Irons both give players up to Tour level the ability to control and shape the ball in heads suited to precision ball striking.

Cobra King Pro Forged CB/MB Combo Irons

The Forged CB/MB Combo have been designed for the very best iron players, from Tour level up to three handicap.

As you'd expect from such elite players these irons have been developed with feedback from Cobra's Tour star Rickie Fowler, who demanded a more precise head shape with an aligned grain structure and a tight weight tolerance.

King Cobra Forged Irons

These parameters have resulted in an iron that gives the impression of a precision tool that the very best players demand. A tungsten toe weight positions the centre of gravity directly behind the ball in the centre of the face, allowing for accurate shot making whilst the CNC milled faces and grooves deliver maximum spin and trajectory control.

Even the best players need forgiveness however, and the long and mid irons (4-6) feature a cavity back with the shorter irons and wedges (7-PW) having a traditional muscle back finish.

All of the clubs have a Diamonised Black Metal Finish surrounding the Forged 1025 Carbon Steel Body and come fitted with steel KBS Tour C-Taper shafts and Lamkin UTX grips.

Full sets of either cavity back or muscle back are available through Cobra's custom program and a chrome version of the irons will also be available in 2016.

Cobra King Forged Tec Irons

The Cobra King Forged Tec (Technology Enhanced Cavity) irons extend the King offering up the handicap range having been designed for players from Tour level to ten handicap, giving feel and precision with maximum forgiveness and distance.

King Cobra Forged Tec Irons

The King Forged Tec are a multi-material construction that combines the same five-step forging technology found in the King Forged CB/MB Combo irons with a J15 high strength steel forged face insert that saves weight and enhances distance.

Feel is maximised with the inclusion of a harmonic cavity insert that is made from Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU) and which is placed between the face and back cavity directly behind the impact zone. This results in a dampening of the vibration at impact for a softer feel.

To give the greatest level of forgiveness to the King Forged Tec irons Cobra has put tungsten in the toe and heel of the clubs as well as a precisely centred centre of gravity to aid precise shot making.

A premium Nickel Chrome plate over the forged 1025 Carbon Steel and KBS Tour C-Taper Lite steel shafts complete the set. As with the King Pro irons a full custom service is offered by Cobra with loft and lie adjustment as well as a full range of premium shafts available at no extra charge.
