Many golfers are put off by modern, oversized putter designs. Some of the best putters on Tour and at clubs around the world trust "classic" shapes and models on the greens.
Cleveland were aware of this. Their Classic Collection HB putters combine traditional shapes with a softer, more responsive feel. According to the folks at Cleveland, the Classic Collection provides "exceptional performance at an exceptional value."
Originally the Classic Collection feature a Satin Chrome finish. Five models, three blades and two mallets, made up the range. All featured the simple, classic looks that are designed to inspire confidence both with Tour professionals and everyday amateurs.
In 2013, Cleveland expanded the range, adding a new Black Pearl finish along with four new models.
The two new blade designs and two mallet designs feature the same dark, Black Pearl finish that has become so popular in Cleveland's range of wedges.
Heel-toe weighting in all the models ensures the Classic Collection HB putters maximise MOI, or a resistance to twisting or turning at impact. This weighting provides minimal distance and accuracy loss on putts strike away from the centre of the face.
All Cleveland Classic Collection HB putters feature a deep, CNC milling on the face. The pattern, featured across the entire width of the face promotes a softer feel at impact, giving players better feedback and improving control.
The Classic Collection range now features an improved Winn grip. With its classic black and white colour scheme, the grip offers a softer texture which again improves feedback and feel on the greens.
