Martin Hopley

We were intrigued to see how the refined version of the Titleist AP2 Irons fared and it immediately became apparent why these have proved so popular on tour.

The feel, which can be problematic in multi-material clubheads, is excellent throughout the set and the True Temper Dynamic Gold shaft really does suit these clubs.

We felt the clubs looked really good at address and the Titleist AP2 irons are some of the most stylish clubs you could put in your bag.

All in all the Titleist AP2 Irons are an excellent new model in the very impressive AP range and they are certainly going to be very attractive to the better players out there.

Forgiving, could shape shots. Quite chunky but all about performance.
