The Srixon Z H85 hybrid keeps the family look of the Z F85 fairway with the same dark looks and crown design.
The black head features a small Crown Step reminiscent of the sister Cleveland Launcher HB hybrid with a wide leading edge visible at address.
The head style makes it look more like a wood style hybrid and the large footprint is there to increase the MOI.
However the Z H85 actually doesn’t play like that and gives a mid to high flight that I think most better players would like.
The sole features the same contour design of the driver and fairway and the club sits very well behind the ball.
It comes with a Project X HZRDS Black shaft as standard which is quite playable and the Z H85 had a lovely sound and feel.
Srixon say that the face is one of the fastest on the market and certainly the performance I saw seemed to match this.
I really feel that I should be saying more about this hybrid, but there is not much more to comment on.
The looks are simple and clean and the performance was good enough to appeal to single figure and teen handicap players.
