The Mizuno MP-T4 wedge continues Mizuno's excellent range of wedges. Unlike previous models this one feels a little heavier, which is not a bad thing as Mizuno wedges have tended to be at the lighter end of the market.Previous Mizuno wedges had very noticeable grinds on the heel and toe and this has made then excellent if you prefer lower bounce wedges for opening the face. The T-4 wedge still comes with low bounce soles, but the heel and toe grinds are much more subtle and the trailing edge is a little sharper than before so that better players can use the bounce more to help them through the turf. This does mean that the T-4 wedge does not sit open as easily as previous models so it just depends on how you plan to use your wedges. The 'slot' across the back of the head moves weight into the sole and higher up the head for a little more control into the wind and we found that this was a very balanced wedge to use.The feel was very good and we liked the generous sized head, which looked a lot better than the wedges on the recent MP-64 irons. The spin from the irons was pretty good and Mizuno have varied the groove spacings on the higher and lower lofts as before, although it is hard to tell the difference between the two - but you at least know it is there!Overall this is a good, clean looking wedge with a little more help from the sole bounce than before, that will probably fit more easily into the weight pattern of your Mizuno irons than before.

Bought the MP-T4 wedge recently, second hand. Classic looking club head, excellent quality finish. Grooves excellent for spinning ball. Highly recommended!!
