The 2008 versions of the Cobra S9 iron are an improvement on the old model.

Like the other cavity backed irons in the Cobra range, the forgiveness was excellent and these are probably the pick of the bunch for mid handicap players.

The black insert can take some getting use to from above, but we thought this was a good looking iron and great value for money.

Have had these irons for 3 years and love them highly recommended for the mid to high handicap golfer

The Cobra 08 S9 irons head is just too long for my liking. They have a bit of an old Callaway look about them, but are a lot easier to hit and a bit more forgiving. They do exactly what they are meant to do for the higher handicapper, giving a nice high flight and a solid forgiving feel through impact. A good club for the market it is aimed at.
