Hailing from the same company as trolley experts Big Max comes a new laser rangefinder brand - Zoom - with it's first model, the Focus X.

Zoom Focus X Laser Rangefinder

Said to be able to compete with the biggest and best names in the laser market, such as Bushnell and Garmin, the Focus X will retain an 'affordable' price tag when it is released this Spring.

The Focus X has 6x magnification, a 600m range and continuous flagpole scanning, making it extremely easy to pick up your desired target. When you find the target, a flagpole icon appears and the device vibrates, giving you extra confidence of the yardage you're seeing.

The distances, available in both metres and yards, are accurate to 0.5m and shown in an easy-to-read format. There's an adjustable eyepiece so that you can properly focus on the target regardless of whether you are wearing glasses.

There's also a Slope adjusted option, a must-have for premium rangefinders these days, which shows compensated yardages depending on the elevation to the target. The Slope feature can be turned on and off, so that it is suitable for tournament use.

The Focus X features a rechargeable lithium battery, that has an automatic cut off after 8 seconds of non-use. There's also a low battery indicator which lets you know when it's time to recharge.

The Zoom Focus X is available this Spring at an SRP of £219.99.
