Who? 28 year-old American Xander Schauffele.

What? The 2022 Genesis Scottish Open, his second win in two starts and third win of 2022.

Where? The Renaissance Club, North Berwick, Scotland.

How? Schauffele made it two wins in his last two starts thanks to a final round of 70, recovering from a shaky front nine which saw him lose his lead to Kurt Kitayama. The American found two birdies on the back nine, giving him enough breathing room to take the victory despite a closing bogey.
