Who? 34 year-old American Billy Horschel

What? The 2021 WGC - Dell Technologies Match Play, his sixth PGA Tour victory.

Where? Austin Country Club, Austin, Texas.

How? Having seen off the challenge of Frenchman Victor Perez in the semi-final, the final ended up being a war of attrition for Horschel against Scottie Scheffler, as both players struggled to find any real rhythm at the end of a long week of matches. In the end it was Horschel who was able to minimise his mistakes best, with a great up and down from the greenside bunker on the 16th. A short birdie putt miss by Scheffler on the par-3 17th was then enough to give Horschel the 2&1 victory.
