Srixon are moving back into the hardware market with the tour inspired Z series range of metal woods and irons.
As well as the Z 545 Driver, that is in the bag of Graeme McDowell and Keegan Bradley, and three options of Z Series Forged Irons the line-up is completed by the Z F45 fairway woods and Z H45 hybrids.
Srixon Z F45 Fairway Wood
The Z F45 is a low spinning, mid-size fairway wood that has been designed for players of all abilities. Providing a mid to high launch the Srixon engineers were keen to ensure that these characteristics would be maximised from all lies.
Like the Z545 Driver, the Z F45 benefits from Srixon's Dual Speed Technology that delivers more kinetic energy at impact with a faster head speed being translated to more ball speed and ultimately more distance.
This is optimised by the Booster cup-face construction of a HT1770 Maraging steel face in a 450 steel body that increases the COR by 15 points across the whole face for maximum ball speed. The face is of variable thickness with thinner toe and heel portions to increase the sweet spot and make it easier and more consistent to hit.
The Z F45 also incorporates the Srixon Quick Tune System adjustability allowing players to easily fine tune loft, lie, face angle from the hosel and centre of gravity through the adjustable weight port.
Srixon Z H45 Hybrid
The Z H45 range of hybrids are aimed at players of all abilities and have been designed to have a confidence boosting look at address to encourage confidence over shots from all over the course.
With a low-mid spin and a high launch angle they are ideal from the fairway to replace the harder to hit longer irons. This has been enhanced by a low centre of gravity to help the ball into the air.
Like the Z F45 fairways the hybrids use Dual Speed Technology to transmit more speed to the ball to maximise distance and also boast an ultra hot HT1770 maraging steel variable thickness face to maximise ball speed.
The Z H45 hybrids come available in 3 options with lofts of 16°, 19° and 22° to allow players to eliminate any gaps they have at the longer end of the bag.
