Srixon's AD333 has been one of the biggest success stories in the golf equipment market over the last decade. Now in it's tenth generation, the 2-piece ball continues to be one of the most successful options available to golfers seeking an all-round combination of distance, spin and a soft feel with great value for money.
The AD333 shares much of the same technologies as the Z-Star series used by the likes of Shane Lowry and Hideki Matsuyama on the PGA Tour, but presented in an ionomer construction to provide value and performance.
A new, reformulated FastLayer Core has dropped the compression of the ball from 77 to 72 to provide a straighter, more sustainable ball flight thanks to more deformation of the ball at impact for golfers with moderate swing speeds. It also promotes longer contact with the short irons and wedges which Srixon says provides the best feel of any AD333 model to date.
The core works in tandem with the 338 Speed Dimple Pattern design to reduce drag for a more penetrating ball flight, which is said to perform better into the wind.
Greenside spin performance is achieved by adding Spin Skin with SeRM (Slide-Ring Material), a coating for the golf ball which is designed to dig deep into wedge and iron grooves.
This increases friction and maximises spin, providing extra stopping power on every shot.
"This latest generation of AD33 golf balls offers great all-round performance. With a lower overall compression compared to previous generations, the new AD333 delivers better distance off the tee and enhanced feel when approaching the green."
Joe Miller, Srixon Sports Europe Product Expert
Key Technologies:
FastLayer Core: FastLayer delivers exceptional feel and ball speed. With the new sixth generation, a lower compression delivers superior flight, especially on low-lofted clubs.
Spin Skin with SeRM: A coating with flexible molecular bonds dig deep into wedge and iron grooves, maximising spin for more control and more stopping power.
Enhanced Alignment: Line up with confidence thanks to the new and improved alignment line.
338 Speed Dimple Pattern: The unique 338 Speed Dimple Pattern boosts overall distance and accuracy due to less drag and a more penetrating ball flight.
Available from 10th September, the AD333 come in a choice of Pure White or Tour Yellow colourways, and are priced at an RRP of £27.00 per dozen.
