Ping set the standard when it came to putters back in 1966 with the introduction of the iconic Anser model, one which has been copied and used as inspiration for thousands of putters ever since.
The brand are now seeking to reclaim their place atop the putter market with the introduction of four new Putting Lab Design (PLD) models which had previously been tour-only.
The PLD Milled line offers a range of custom engineered, precision milled putters which are fully machined from forged 303 stainless steel and provide traditional options with tour-inspired models that you'll see on your TV every week in the hands of some of the world's best.
Each putter requires more than four hours of milling time, shaping every surface and radius to achieve the high quality, premium look that you'd expect from a precision-milled putter with a £399 price tag.
"The PLD Milled is an exciting addition to our putter line. We've identified a couple of our most popular models from the past and some newer designs that have attracted a lot of attention in the last couple of years."
"We've given the new putters a very clean, premium look to emphasise the precision process they undergo before they are ready for play."
"Several of our highest ranked players in the world rely on a PLD custom putter that was designed in collaboration with our engineering team. We chose this week to introduce the PLD programme at one of the game's most important events and shine a spotlight on our success."
"Viktor Hovland, Tony Finau and Bubba Watson are just a few players who put their trust in a PLD model, each custom designed and built to their specific needs, but all engineered to win championships."
