Ping have announced details of their new AW22 clothing range, which incorporates innovative new technologies to help golfers get even more from their apparel.
The brand has become one of the first to include Graphene in an apparel range. Comprised of a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice, it is said to be the lightest, strongest and toughest material ever discovered.
Mens Range
A Graphene print has been added to the inside of the fabric on both the SensorDry 2.5 Graphene Waterproof suit and Elemental Polo, helping to conduct and retain heat.
The suit is designed to offer waterproof protection while still remaining ultra-lightweight, flexible, windproof and breathable.
The Graphene suit is also joined by a SensorDry Pro jacket which comes in four different colourways as well as a Half-Zip alternative. The SensorDry jacket is available in five different colours, adding more options to the winter look.
The SensorDry range also features a bucket hat and a cap, both ideal for keeping you protected from the rain.
The Norse series has been upgraded to include the Norse S4 jacket, S4 Zoned jacket and S4 reversible vest. Each is designed for superior warmth, with insulation provided by the PrimaLoft technology.
The Norse and SensorDry are both designed to provide protection for the autumn and winter months, offering performance and comfort in all weathers.
Also included in the range is the SensorWarm Winter trouser, designed for comfort and protection in cold weather. It provides lightweight warmth thanks to a brushed-back stretch fabric and water resistance.
Womens Range
The new Womens range for AW22 offers performance driven apparel which is designed to offer female golfers more choices and combinations to suit their style on the course.
There are two key 'design stories' in the new range.
The first is the Mineral Print which takes inspiration from nature, geological textures, marbling and mineral markings. A monochrome print is said to be versatile and long-lasting, and is designed to be paired with black and white.
The second is the Abstract Camo with rugged and irregular prints that celebrates 'the great outdoors and winter golf landscapes'. A bold and vibrant colour palette gives a burst of colour to the apparel, and are particularly suited to combining with navy colours.
The Jayda Waterproof is engineered with SensorDry technology and is a high performing fully seam-sealed jacket, whilst the Freda Waterproof jacket is available in three colours and is a breathable and lightweight offering designed for playability.
A key garment in the collection is the Oslo PrimaLoft III jacket, which combines SensorWarm and PrimaLoft technologies to create a fully insulated jacket. The Thermoplume layer on the front panel is a water-resistant fibre which insulates too.
PrimaLoft Silver Active Insulation in the sleeves and back body coms with a high thermal efficiency and breathability and it designed to help regulate your body temperature when you are out on the course.
The Pip hybrid jacket comes in two different prints and has a brushed-back fleece to deliver versatility, comfort and warmth.
The updated reversible vest Cece comes in two different colours, and is insulated with Sorona Aura, a lightweight, breathable and plant-based insulation.
Finally, the Kaitlyn is a technical winter trouser that is engineered for equal levels of comfort and protection in winter conditions. The soft brushed-back stretch fabric ensures that you should feel warm and comfortable out on the course.
Tailored in a classic straight leg, the trouser is available in three different colours and pairs with a reversible neck warmer and knit headwear.
