Oscar Jacobson has been in the tailoring business since 1903 and a presence on the fairways of the European Tour for over 40 years, so the Scandinavian brand know a thing or two about kitting out golfers.

Modern players demand both performance and style and OJ Sport are meeting the challenge head on by combining high-quality fabrics and Swedish design for Autumn/Winter 2016.

Oscar Jacobson AW2016 Collection

The collection revolves around two colour schemes with the Resort range providing a classic look through new navy and burgundy combinations, whilst the Club range caters for players favouring a bolder look.

Within each range are a series of items you can put together as part of Oscar Jacobson's three-layer Weather Protection System (WPS). WPS is engineered to meet the three key requirements identified by the design team: protection, comfort and freedom.

Full weather protection is provided by the Hartman, Boris and Stark waterproof jackets. The Hartmann uses a two-layer construction, whilst the Boris has three lightweight layers, and both are full-zip jackets featuring four-way stretch fabrics with articulated sleeves for an ideal fit. The Stark is a half-zip three-layer jacket featuring zip off sleeves for maximum adaptability and, like its stablemates, has fully taped seams.

The Quentin joins the Marco and Marco Tour jackets in the OJ Sport wind and shower-proof line up. The winter weight soft-shell jacket boasts a brushed fleece liner for extra warmth and comfort, as well as a drawstring bottom that provides a tailored fit around the waist.

PrimaLoft padding continues to be an integral part of the range and for Autumn/Winter 2016 it is available in the Clemens, Mulligan or sleeveless Marcel tops.

The advanced padding material brings warmth without unnecessary bulk and the Clemens is a half-zip top woven from an ultra-light fabric with high mechanical stretch and a rib-stop surface for a fittingly technical look.

The Autumn /Winter 2016 collection offers a number of pullover and sweater options including the Nario, a half-zip top with a windproof dropliner; Norris, a stretch fleece sweater with elasticated waist and sleeve hems: and Theo, a jersey double-knit full-zip cardigan tailored from a 50/50 cotton/polyester mix.

The Wyatt is a classic Cashwool extrafine Merino wool V-neck sweater in seven colours, while Nero is a 50% extrafine Merino wool V-neck with fashion detail on sleeve and collar. A bolder statement can be made with either the Niels or Nevan, both woven from a 50% extrafine Merino, 50% Polyacrylic mix. Niels is a tri-colour crew neck with a bold horizontal stripe; Nevan a half-zip windroof lined sweater in a striking Argyle pattern.
