12 months ago Odyssey introduced their new Ai-One line of putters which, as the name suggests, were designed with the help of AI technology and went down very well with both pros and amateur golfers.

As we head into 2025, Odyssey have updated this collection again with a range of new Square 2 Square putters, featuring a centre shafted design which make them 'stroke balanced', encouraging them to stay square throughout the golfer's stroke. This makes the putters best suited to golfers who are looking to minimise their face rotation when they putt.

Using Artificial Intelligence, the Ai-One putters have contours on the aluminium backer of the insert, which are co-moulded to the White Hot Urethane face. This is said to promote consistent ball speed across the face, along with the classic White Hot feel that has been so popular in Odyssey putters for decades.

The design centres the shaft on the CG plane of the putter, resulting in putters which rest with the toe up in a reverse torque position, which is the opposite of a traditional putter with toe hang. This is said to promote a square face throughout the stroke, and is something which has grown in popularity in recent years through the likes of LAB Golf and PXG's Allan putter.

There's 3.3° of forward shaft lean which presets the hands in a forward press position, helping to eliminating the opening of the face that often happens when golfers forward press on their own, which can lead to a push.

Square 2 Square putters will be available in Standard, Cruiser and Broomstick configurations, covering the three most popular current putting styles.

You get a choice of Odyssey's Stroke Lab 90, 140 and 180g shafts depending on the head shape, which provide the proper weight and balance to complement the head weight and length of putters that are offered.

The line features the same navy blue PVD finish as last year's AI-One range, which provides a premium look, whilst the Jailbird models come with Odyssey's classic Versa alignment.
