Motocaddy's S5 Connect GPS electric trolley was one of our favourite products last year, cleverly using bluetooth to sync the Motocaddy App with the handle display to give you distance information on the go.

Its success can be seen in the fact more than 45,000 golfers have downloaded the app and Connect technology is now making its way to the manual trolley market as the Motocaddy Cube Connect becomes the first 'Smart' push model in the world.
The Cube Connect is based on the popular Cube trolley that was launched in 2017 and Motocaddy has adapted the trolley by positioning a Smart Display screen above the soft-touch handle to provide the same distance data and optional smartphone alerts as the powered trolley version.

The technology works via a Bluetooth connection on any compatible smartphone, it can be pre-set to receive notifications alerting golfers to a missed call, text, email or range of app alerts, including WhatsApp and Facebook. The smartphone can remain connected, even when securely placed in a golf bag.

Of course the bread and butter on the course is the conventional GPS functionality that gives golfers front, middle and back distances to the green in yards or metres for more than 40,000 courses worldwide, as well as shot measurement, clock and round timer that are all controlled directly from the trolley handle.

Powered by a Motocaddy long-life battery, the high-tech Connect Smart Display screen can be tilted up and down for multi-angle visibility in any light on the easy-push, height adjustable ergonomic handle.
Motocaddy Managing Director Tony Webb explains the latest move:
Since its launch last year, the Cube has been our top-selling push trolley, so to combine it with our proven Connect technology and expand our GPS range is something we think golfers will be really excited about.
We pride ourselves on producing innovative products for golfers worldwide. The Cube Connect is another revolutionary model featuring ‘Smart’ technology, that we’re confident will be a huge hit with golfers looking for an ultra-modern, gadget-packed push trolley.
As well as the attention grabbing digital tech, the Connect Cube boasts all the features that made the original Cube trolley a hit including the simple two-step assembly system that allows it to quickly fold over 45% smaller than the Motocaddy S1 Lite to fit into the smallest of car boots.

There is also a foot-operated parking brake, quick-release friction free oversized wheels, a folding lock and adjustable bag supports that use Motocaddy's popular Easilock bag-to-trolley connection system. In addition the trolley boasts a number of handy storage options, including an under-handle net, integrated accessory compartment and holes for carrying tees and balls.
