If you visit any golf club in the UK you'll quickly see that electric golf trolleys are very popular as they provide an easy, stress-free way to transport your clubs around the course.

Motocaddy M7 Remote Trolley

Trolley aficionados Motocaddy are taking this one step further with the latest model in their comprehensive M-Series range, with the new M7 Remote providing a hands-free option which could make life on the links even more enjoyable.

Replacing the original S7 Remote, the M7 is said to be a significant upgrade thanks to the introduction of a new anti-glare LCD screen along with plenty of other technological enhancements. Motocaddy's compact-folding SlimFold system means that the trolley can fit in to even the smallest car boots.

Oliver Churcher, Motocaddy Marketing Manager, commented:

"The M7 Remote offers golfers the ultimate in terms of responsive control and uses cutting-edge technology to provide enhanced usability and take remote functionality to a completely new level. The addition of the M7 Remote to our range means that we can now offer something special for everyone in the increasingly popular compact trolley category."

The trolley comes with an ergonomic remote control handset that is easy to use, and can even be recharged on the go with the trolley's USB port.

It can move the trolley forward, left, right and in reverse, with an additional pause and resume feature. It can also switch from remote to manual mode and back again, if the user wants to control it from the handle like a regular trolley.

As well as the Automatic Downhill Control which has been present in Motocaddy trolleys for some time now, there is also an emergency stop function and a new handset lock feature to stop any accidental button pushes.

The M7 Remote has a slightly wider wheel-base than the rest of the M-Series range, and the handset has a range of 50 metres so that you can let your trolley roll ahead of you down the fairway. A pair of anti-skid rear wheels and an extra (removable) anti-tip wheel at the back ensure optimal stability on all terrains.

The trolley is powered by a 28.8V High Power system with nine speed settings, a speed indicator and battery metre, plus a lightweight lithium battery that can be charged without being removed. The handle can also be easily adjusted to a range of heights to suit all golfers.

Available from July, the M7 Remote comes with a graphite frame and Ultra Lithium battery at an RRP of £999.99.
