The third men's major of the year is upon us, with Scottie Scheffler headlining a field which is set to take on the iconic and very difficult Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina.
The 124th US Open is set to get underway on Thursday, hosted at Pinehurst for the first time since Martin Kaymer dominated the field back in 2014 to win by eight strokes.
